Today, the Evans Police Department consists of 27 sworn officers, 24 full-time, 3 part-time; 12 dispatchers, 9 full-time and 3 part-time; 2 clerical, 1 full-time and 1 part-time; 3 dog control officers, 1 full-time and 2 part-time; 2 part-time police matrons; 3 part time court officers; and 1 crossing guard.
